A new wave of unrest has hit Kenya days before the nation goes to polls for the run-off presidential election. Police used tear gas to disperse hundreds of supporters of opposition leader Odinga. At least one was shot dead during the protests in the opposition stronghold of Kisumu. Earlier protests that followed the August 8 vote claimed the lives of 37 people. The Supreme Court annulled victory of incumbent Kenyatta and ordered a run-off due on October 26.
