Inter Milan defeats AC Milan 3-2 on Sunday night

Inter Milan have registered a 3-2 victory over arch rivals AC Milan in Sunday night's enthralling Milan derby at San Siro, thanks to a stunning hat trick by Mauro Icardi.

Suso cancelled out Icardi's first-half strike to leave the two teams level in the second period, before Inter's captain scored his second of the night after the hour mark to put the hosts back in front.

Milan equalized once again in the 81st minute through Jiacomo Bonaventura, but Icardi destroyed the visitors hopes of earning a single point as he completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot in the 90th minute.
