Spain book their spot in 2018 World Cup
Spain have booked their place in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, following a 3-0 victory over group G rival Albania.
Spain first found the net in the 16th minute, when Rodrigo collected Isco's chipped-ball into the box and found the net with a superb volley. Isco doubled the host’s lead in the 23rd minute with a stunning finish, finding the top corner.
And just three minutes later, Thiago Alcantara made it 3-0 following a pinpoint cross into the box by Alvaro Odriozola. The score remained unchanged until the final whistle which means La Roja will be present in Russia next year.
