La Liga: Valencia 3-2 Athletic Bilbao
Valencia have moved UP to 3rd in the standings, after beating visitors Athletic Bilbao 3-2 at the Mestalla stadium.
A goal by Italy striker Simone Zaza, and a penalty by Daniel Parejo gave the hosts a 2-nil lead at half-time. But, Aritz Aduriz pulled 1 back before the hour-mark for Bilbao.
Valencia striker Rodrigo then scored in the 66th minute to double the advantage for the hosts. However 10 minutes later, Raul Garcia pulled another one back for the away team, but it was not enough to save Bilbao from the eventual 3-2 loss.
