Arsenal have earned their second consecutive victory in the Europa League, after defeating Group H rivals Bate Borisov 4-2, in Belarus.
The Gunners cruised into a three-goal lead inside the first 30 minutes, after Theo Walcott scored a brace before Rob Holding registered his first Arsenal goal, turning home from a corner. But Mirko Ivanic gave the Belarusians some hope with a powerful header to make it 3-1 at the interval.
Olivier Giroud celebrated his 100th goal for the club, with a penalty three minutes into the second half before Mikhail Gordeichuk grabbed a consolation for the hosts in the 67th minute. Arsene Wenger’s men are now at the top of Group H on six points.
