MotoGP: Marc Marquez wins Aragon Grand Prix
Spain’s Marc Marquez has won the Aragon MotoGP in his home country, to claim his 5th victory of the season.
Marquez, who started from 5th on the grid, showed a flawless performance on Sunday to finish 1st, with time of 42 minutes, 06.816 seconds.
That’s while, his Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa took 2nd, with Ducati’s Jorge Lorenzo back in 3rd. Pole-sitter Maverick Vinales finished 4th, just ahead of Yamaha teammate Valentino Rossi.
Marquez, who also won in San Marino 2 weeks ago, now leads the Overall Standings by 16 points over Italy’s Andrea Doovizioso. The next race will be held in Japan on October 15th.
