Trial begins over Sharif family corruption case

Pakistan’s National Accountability Court has launched a corruption case against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his children. The trial was ordered by the Supreme Court which disqualified the prime minister in July for using public funds to set up offshore businesses.
