The Kahak Village; Visiting an Old House 

For some of us, getting the chance to visit the house of famous people is a dream come true. We love to see where they live, what their house looks like and enjoy all the interesting little details of the building. Now the house that you’re going to see in this feature belongs to one of Iran’s most famous and influential philosophers who lived back in the 17th century.  

Armenian Churches; Religious Minorities 

Looking back in history, Iran has always been a welcoming home to many ethnic and religious communities. Among them are the Iranian Armenians who are the largest Christian community and cultural minority in Iran. They have built about 200 churches in Iran and in our next feature, we’re going to see two of the oldest that belong to 400 years ago. 

The City of Qazvin; An Old Caravansary 

Once upon a time there was a caravansary where travelers, pilgrims and merchants could rest and recover from the day’s journey. The caravansary was a shelter and a refuge for the people. It gave them a temporary home, making them feel safe and secure. That caravansary was called Sa’adolsaltaneh and was built more than a 100 years ago.
