Real Madrid defeat Sociedad 3-1 in La Liga

In the Spanish La Liga, Real Madrid have returned to winning ways after posting a comfortable away 3-1 victory over Real Sociedad.

On Sunday, sSurprise starter Borja Mayoral fired Los blancos in front in the 19th minute, smashing home from close range before Kevin Rodrigues vollied home an equalizer some 10 minutes later.

The full-back was on target again shortly after, but this time scoring an own goal to restore Madrid’s advantage.

The reigning Spanish and European champions carried the momentum into the second half as Gareth Bale put the icing on the cake for his side following a solo effort. Zinedine Zidane's side moved up to fourth in the table, four points behind leaders Barcelona.
