More than 700 mayors of Spain’s Catalonia region have been summoned by a court in Madrid for questioning over the independence referendum scheduled for October 1. The central government wants to know if they will help the regional government by allocating municipal spaces to the voting process. On Saturday, thousands of people alongside the mayors rallied in Barcelona. Press TV’s correspondent, Kusai Kedri, was also there.
