Concerns are already rising globally about what many see as a dangerous surge in the rhetoric of US President Donald Trump against North Korea. Indifferent to criticisms at home against this, President Trump has now expanded his rhetoric to yet another country, Venezuela. He told reporters on Saturday he was considering a military option over the current crisis in Latin American country. "The people are suffering and they are dying. We have many options for Venezuela including a possible military option if necessary. A military response is certainly something that we could pursue.” These are his words. But the Pentagon has announced that it has not received any orders from the White House relating to a potential strike on Venezuela. Trump’s threat has now already started to draw criticisms.
US cooperation with dash in Iraq
Since 2014 when Daesh Takfiri overran large swathes of territory in Iraq and Syria, there have been questions about the financial resources of the terrorist group. Now PMU’s Deputy Chairman Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes says his forces have obtained evidence showing that American aircraft have made flights to Daesh-held areas of Iraq. He says photos and other documents indicate secret interactions between the US and the terrorist group. His comments come a week after PMU said the US military targeted its positions on the Iraq-Syria border, killing dozens of Hash al-Shaabi fighters. The US-led coalition has also launched attacks on the positions of pro-Damascus forces in Syria. Such strikes against forces fighting terrorists, further proves possible collaboration between Daesh Takfiri terrorists and the US.
