35-year-old Justin Gatlin has won the men's 100 meters at the IAAF World Championships in London, with Usain Bolt only managing 3rd.

On Saturday, Gatlin ruined lightning Bolt's farewell party, as he stole world 100 meters gold medal on Saturday. Bolt made a terrible start and Christian Coleman who beat him in the semi-finals, looked set for the victory.

But Gatlin came from behind, and won the final in 9.92 seconds, while Christian Coleman finished 2nd at 9.94, and the 8-time Olympic Gold Medalist was left behind in 3rd at 9.95. Justin Gatlin now becomes the 1st American to win the world event since Tyson Gay in 2007.
