Animals cool down with ice lollies in Rome
Animals at a zoo in Rome are being treated to frozen ice lollies in a bid to cool them down.
The tigers at the zoo get their paws on large popsicles filled with red meat. Frozen fish is on the menu for the seals, whilst the vegetarian lemurs tuck into fruit based popsicles filled with yoghurt.
The frozen snacks help not only to cool the animals down; they are also a distraction from the hot weather. Alongside the frozen feast, the animals are supplied with shade and water to help them cope with the heat.
