Neymar’s long-running transfer saga has finally come to an end, after Paris Saint-Germain confirmed the signing of the Talisman from Barcelona, for a world-shattering fee of 263 million dollars.

PSG announced that the superstar signed a five-year contract on Thursday. Club’s President Nasser Al-Khelaifi described him as one of the very best players in World. The French club said the 25-year-old Brazilian striker will be presented to the fans on Saturday.

The deal doubles the previous world record transfer fee paid when Paul Pogba moved from Juventus to Manchester United last August, for nearly 125 million dollars. Neymar said in a statement after signing his Contract that he is ‘extremely happy to join PSG’.

He recorded 105 goals and 80 assists in 186 games for the Catalans, since his first appearance in the August of 2013.
