Some experts compare the growth of energy consumption in Iran to a snowball going down a hill. For decades the trend has brought about the country’s power grid and significant costs for the government. But the question is for how long the situation can continue. The answer according to experts is the adoption of a comprehensive energy policy by the government that includes mandatory application of renewable energies as well as fundamental reform in the country’s consumption pattern.
