The United States’ drone strikes have left staggering numbers of civilians slaughtered and “it is hard to believe that this is accidental or incidental,” says a commentator.

“The US military barely even pretends to care about civilian casualties,” John Steppling told Press TV on Tuesday.

The death toll of civilians of US drone attacks in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan may be intentional as a way to foment confrontation with Russia, the author and commentator noted.

At least 60 civilians have lost their lives in fresh airstrikes conducted by the US-led coalition in Syria’s Dayr al-Zawr Province, according to Syrian media reports.
