3,000 Russians set new Guinness World Record

Boxing record

Over 3,000 Russian athletes have set a new Guinness World Record for the most number of people to simultaneously perform boxing exercises.
The boxers beat the record at Red Square in Moscow on International Boxing Day. Their task was to train boxing for 30 minutes without stopping.

Professionals as well as amateurs participated in the mass drill. Olympic medalists were among those to perform on stage during the session, showing the crowd how to do the exercises. Some 800 participants took part in the former record, which was also set at Red Square last year.
