Foreign backers of terror in Syria must be confronted: Analyst

A political commentator says UN special envoy for Syria Staffan De Mistura keeps talking about the need for an end in foreign backing for the terror groups operating in the Arab state, but he stops short of naming the state sponsors of terror, including, the US, Saudi Arabia and Israel.

In a Saturday interview with Press TV, Jim W. Dean, the managing editor of the Veterans Today, emphasized the need for “directly confronting states sponsor terrorism” as the only way to eliminate the scourge in Syria.
