Socialists in Spain have initiated a plan, in an effort to counter a referendum on Catalonia’s independence in October. The plan calls for changes to the Spanish constitution, which, they say would recognize the national aspirations of Catalonia. However, as Press TV’s Kusai Kedri reports from Barcelona, the Socialists’ initiative is not welcome by the pro-independence camp in Catalonia.
