The United States and Britain ignore the violation of human rights in Saudi Arabia, where women are treated “as slaves” and third or fourth class, says Jalal Fairooz.

Since “Saudi money talks,” all the mouths are muted in dealing with the Saudis’ harsh treatment of women, the analyst and Middle East expert said on Sunday.

“The ladies in Saudi [Arabia] are behind closed doors, they just watch out from windows, they are not entitled to full life; so imagine this kind of society in the 21st century and being backed by some of the so-called democratic countries in the West,” Fairooz said.
