US, Japan, South Korea conduct joint drill

The United States has ratcheted up tension on the Korean Peninsula with the over flight of two B-1B strategic bombers, following a similar U.S. flight Friday in the South China Sea. China and Russia have cautioned the U.S. against provocative military activities, seeking dialogue over North Korea’s nuclear and missile development following Pyongyang’s test of an ICBM Tuesday.
