Wimbledon: Murray beats Fognini 3-1

Two-time champion Andy Murray struggled to beat Italy's Fabio Fognini 3-1, in the 3rd round of the competition.

The defending champion beat the Italian 6-2, 4-6, 6-1, 7-5 to reach round 4. Top-ranked Murray saved five set points in the 4th set, winning the last five games.

Murray hit a total of 15 aces against 3 for Fognini, but the Italian had 44 winners compared to 26 from Murray. The Scot now faces Benoit Paire of France.
