The world's biggest and rarest corpse flower has blossomed for the second day in a row at Berlin's Botanical Garden.
The Indonesia-native flower, Titan Arum, takes around a decade to bloom and dies after 36 hours.
Roughly the size of a dustbin lid, the three meter long plant is also called a corpse flower as it emanates a strong odor. Botanists work hard to monitor the rare plant, and pollinate it by hand, using a paintbrush.
Experts say the plant’s early collapse is probably a good sign, indicating that pollination has been successful.
