Cloud looms over upcoming South Korea-US summit

On the eve of the summit between South Korean President Moon Jae-in and US President Donald Trump, the two states’ alliance hangs under a cloud. Opposition to the deployment of the controversial advanced US missile system, THAAD, remains strong with calls for greater balance in South Korea-US relations.
