Mexico have come back from a goal down to edge hosts Russia 2-1 and earn a spot in the next round of the Confederations Cup.

Aleksandr Samedov managed to put the Russians ahead with a low shot after 25 minutes of play on Saturday, but their joy was short-lived as Nestor Araujo leveled the scoring with a fine header.

Hirving Lozano then took advantage of some sloppy goalkeeping after the break, to turn the situation around, and send his side into the semis, where they will face either Germany or Chile on Wednesday.
