Federer beats Khachanov to reach Halle Open final

The 18-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer has cruised into the final of the Halle Open, by outclassing rising Russian talent Karen Khachanov in straight sets.

The Swiss maestro, who bagged the Australian Open, Indian Wells and Miami titles this year, showed a flawless performance on Saturday, and overwhelmed his Russian rival with a score-line of a 6-4, 7-6 to reach his 11th Halle Open final.

Federer is now, just one match away for his 9th title in the German city. Federer will meet Germany's Alexander Zverev in the final.
