Although some American officials have described Mohammed bin Salman, the newly appointed crown prince of Saudi Arabia, as “precocious and unbearable,” he must have managed to achieve some type of support from US President Donald Trump, says an analyst.

Mohammed bin Salman has "arranged the recent political visit by US President Donald Trump, where he probably achieved some type of approval from Trump and from others within the US administration," Mark Sleboda told Press TV on Wednesday.

"This was seen as a political coup in Saudi Arabia." Sleboda said.
