US president Donald Trump has condemned Pyongyang for the death of American student Otto Wambier following his return from imprisonment in North Korea. The death comes as the US is grappling for a coherent policy toward North Korea, amid differences with South Korea over the issue. Now, the student’s death is expected to further cast a cloud over Seoul-Washington ties. The two have already been at odds over the deployment of a US missile system in South Korea.
