The Tel Aviv regime has dared to commit whatever illegal activities it wished because of international silence and inaction, says an academic.

“If I were Israel and I can get away with these illegal acts time and time again and nothing is done to stop me, I wouldn’t stop. Why would I stop?” Ghada Karmi told Press TV on Tuesday.

She said international and regional upheavals have provided the Israeli regime with the opportunity “to accelerate its colonizing project in the Palestinian territories.”

Ghada Karmi is an author at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies and a professor at the University of Exeter, London.
