Lopez beats Zverev to reach Stuttgart Open final
Spain’s Feliciano Lopez has reached the final of the Stuttgart Open following a three-sets victory over Mischa Zverev of Germany.
Zverev started the match quite well on Saturday and took the 1st set 7-6, as Lopez found the net too often. But, Lopez fought back in the 2nd and won the set 7-6 to level the score.
The Spaniard carried the momentum into the 3rd, and eventually won the contest with a score-line of 6-7, 7-6, 7-5, in a tight match, which was decided on a double fault by the German.
