Zverev beats Haas to reach Stuttgart Open semis
Germany’s Mischa Zverev has cruised past his countryman Tommy Haas in straight sets to reach the Stuttgart Open semifinals.
Zverev won the match 6-4, 6-4, to book himself a place in the last four of the Stuttgart Open on Friday. 39-year-old Haas had knocked Roger Federer out on Wednesday.
Sixth seed Zverev hit 16 aces and looked comfortable throughout. Zverev will next face Feliciano Lopez of Spain for a place in the Sunday final.
