Iran envoy urges UNSC to combat extremism

Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations has called on the international community and the UN Security Council to spare no efforts to fight violent extremism. Gholam Ali Khoshroo has also stressed that the recent arms deal between Saudi Arabia and the US has deteriorated the situation in the region.
