S Korean President suspended THAAD missile system

South Korean President Moon Jae-in has suspended the deployment of a controversial US missile system to the country, pending a full environmental impact assessment. Meanwhile, North Korea has test fired several missiles as part its attempt to beef up its defense capabilities against the threat of US warships in the region.
