Turkey supports Persian Gulf Arab state Qatar, may intervene to solve crisis

Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced his support for Qatar after Saudi Arabia and a number of other Persian Gulf Arab states cut their diplomatic ties with the country. His stance has raised some concerns in Turkey with critics saying Ankara must refrain from taking sides in this issue due to its possible repercussions.
