A funeral ceremony has been held in the Afghan capital Kabul for Press TV’s cameraman Habibollah Hosseinzadeh, who lost his life in a bloody terrorist attack that rocked the city last week.

Hosseinzadeh was laid to rest on Tuesday, days after his remains were found amid a search for those missing in the aftermath of the May 31 truck bombing that claimed over 150 lives.

Press TV released an official statement on Monday, offering condolences to the family of its employee. The Iranian news channel stressed that Hosseinzadeh’s death would not by any means weaken its serious resolve and commitment to fully cover international events.
