US seeks to destroy Syria rather than fight Daesh: Analyst

Scott Bennett, former US army psychological warfare officer, believes Pentagon’s report about the number of civilians being killed by US-led airstrikes in Syria shows Washington’s “hypocrisy” in its military campaign against Daesh.

“It indicates the US military commanders are either grossly incompetent and should be relieved of duty or they are liars and their real war strategy is to pound Syria’s infrastructure into oblivion, to destabilize Assad, remove him and continue this mass refugee migration into Europe and cause instability and chaos as the Israeli Oded Yinon project commands,” Bennett told Press TV in an interview on Saturday.
