Trump’s travel ban aimed at waging war on Islam: Analyst
Stephen Lendman, an author and journalist, believes US President Donald Trump’s revised travel ban is “improper” and “racist”, adding that it has nothing to do with protecting America’s borders and national security but rather waging a war on Islam.
“I must add that America needs enemies to pursue its imperial agenda. Before the Soviet Union dissolved, it was communism. After it dissolved, America needed something else to continue pursuing its imperial wars. It turned out to be a war on Islam beginning with the [Persian] Gulf War in 1991 and continued ever since,” Lendman told Press TV in an interview on Friday.
