Naftogaz wins 1st interim ruling in dispute with Gazprom

The Stockholm Arbitration Court has issued the first interim ruling in the 80 billion dollar legal dispute between the gas conglomerates of neighboring Ukraine and Russia. The court canceled “the take or pay” principle and ordered a review of the price formula since 2014. The ruling saves the Ukrainian gas monopoly from immediate bankruptcy.
