The UN Security Council's latest session was partly dedicated to Yemen. UN humanitarian chief Stephen O'Brien told the council that the Yemen crisis is in part a result of inaction by the international community. UN Special envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed also addressed the meeting and blamed the warring parties for failing to clinch a peace deal at the expense of the Yemeni people.
