Dutch senators approve ratification of EU-Ukraine pact

A long-awaited cooperation deal between Ukraine and the European Union, known as the Association Agreement, has been finally approved after the last remaining EU state the Netherlands ratified the agreement. Now Ukraine is poised to improve ties with Western Europe. But its traditional partner Russia says the shift won't benefit the ex-Soviet republic as expected.
