British inventor breaks own speed record

Iron Man

Britain’s ‘Iron Man’ has broken his own record to fly faster than 45 kilometers per hour in eight-hundred horse-power super suit.
Richard Browning shows off his piloting skills at a flight test by traveling over 45 kilometers per hour with his “Iron Man-style” jet suit, covering a distance of several hundred meters. He unveiled the powerful jet suit a few weeks ago.

The designer developed the body equipment over 18 months with friends. It is powered by six gas turbine engines which are mounted on the pilot's lower back and on each arm.

The creator is now developing a new even more powerful suit with the help of investors. He hopes that his project, which started out as fun experiment, could become a practical tool for industries ranging from entertainment to the military.
