Light, music festival begins in Australian city
The world’s largest festival of light, music, and ideas has kicked off in Sydney.
Vivid Sydney features large-scale light installations and projections, music performances, as well as discussing creative ideas. The event transforms Sydney into a wonderland of 'light art' sculptures.
More than 180 local and international artists participate in the festival. Projections illuminate iconic buildings and landmarks throughout the city including the Sydney Harbor Bridge, and the Sydney Opera House.
In 2016, Vivid Sydney welcomed a record-breaking two-point-thirty-one million attendees.
