OPEC, non-OPEC countries agree to extend output cuts

Members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC and 11 non-OPEC countries have decided to extend a deal to cut two percent of global oil output. The decision is aimed at helping strengthen prices that have halved over the past three years due to oversupply.
