South Korean President Moon Jae-in remains steadfast in his approach to engage with North Korea, despite the policy of pressure and sanctions pursued by the US. He has also indicated that he would seek a review of the deployment of a US missile system to the country. South Koreans support Moon’s policy, with the president enjoying an 80 percent approval rate in recent polls.
