Spanish giants Real Madrid have clinched their 33rd La Liga title following a 2-0 victory at Malaga.

Los Blancos couldn’t have asked for a better start as Cristiano Ronaldo fired his side in front just after two minutes when the Portuguese star raced onto a through pass from Isco before rounding the keeper and tapping into the back of the net.

Real Madrid doubled their lead in the 55th minute of the match as striker Karim Benzema drilled home from close range after Sergio Ramos's shot was saved by keeper Carlos Kameni ten minutes into the second half.

Meanwhile, Barcelona came back from two goals down to beat 10-man Eibar 4-2 at Camp Nou in their final La Liga game of the season, but it just wasn't enough to grab the title from rivals Real Madrid.
