Bayern Munich have celebrated their 5th successive Bundesliga title in style, by thrashing Freiburg 4-1 on the final day of the Bundesliga season as the Bavarian giants bid farewell to their legendary duo Xabi Alonso and Philipp Lahm.

Arjen Robben, Arturo Vidal, Franck Ribery and Joshua Kimmich were all on target to secure Bayern’s 25th victory of the season.

This is while, it was also a memorable night for Philipp Lahm, who has spent his entire career at Bayern and has been the Club captain since 2011, winning eight Bundesliga titles and the Champions League with Bayern. Saturday’s emotional match was Lahm’s 517th and final game for the Bundesliga champions.

Former Liverpool and Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso also ended a memorable career in both domestic and international football. He has spent the last three years at Bayern, winning the title in each of those seasons, as well as the German Cup and the German Super Cup in 2016.
