Big turnout in Iran vote creates positive image in world: Analyst

Mark Glenn, an author and political analyst, says the Iranian people are the real winners of the elections because the big voter turnout has created a “positive image” for Iran in the eyes of the world and in the face of a “concerted and relentless anti-Iranian propaganda” that has been waged against the Islamic Republic since 1979.

“Here in the United States we would love to get that many people, that kind of percentage out of exercising their right to choose their destiny, but we cannot do it because quite frankly we do not have a population that cares enough about its political future to actually get engaged,” Glenn told Press TV in an interview on Friday.
