The newly elected, inaugurated and Pro-European President of France, Emanuel Macron made his first official visit as President to Germany. This very strong message of thanks came in return for the support given to Macron by the mother of Europe, Angel Merkel. Her endorsement of Macron came as a direct message against the anti-Europe, Marine Le Pen, and gave Macron the backing of a motherly figure, (something that Macron appears to be very used to), as he defeated his rival candidate.
Trump’s Russia controversy
US President Donald Trump is increasing seeing himself embroiled in a political crisis over what some believe could be his biggest blunder. He is facing allegations that he revealed code-word secrets to Russian officials during a meeting in the Oval Office last week. The classified information that he allegedly revealed to the Russians – as the US media have reported – were highly sensitive information that Israel had provided Washington about the Daesh terrorists. Many believe that Trump’s move to share intelligence with Russian officials has already put him into a grave credibility crisis.And the price that he will eventually have to pay may be too high to afford.
