Turkey MPs elect members of judicial authority

Turkish parliament has elected seven members of a reshaped judicial authority a month after a controversial constitutional referendum that brought more powers for the president. Turkey's main opposition parties boycotted the vote at parliament in a show of disdain for sweeping changes the government has started to apply following the vote.
