Iran’s politics polarized but full of dignity: Activist

Iran's presidential election

Shabbir Hassanally, an activist and Middle East expert, says Iran’s presidential hopefuls have differences on various issues but they respect dignity based on the framework of the Islamic Republic.

“Iran is proving yet again that it is a country that is sophisticated and honorable and strong and while it has polarized opinion here and there, all of these opinions [are] within the framework of the Islamic Republic, within the framework of the Islamic establishment and as a result, there is always decorum and dignity maintained,” Hassanaly said on Wednesday.
